Great ending!!
This game was terrible for our emotions. Completely disappointment
the first 55 minutes then complete excitement at the end.
As a fan we don't care by how much our team wins as long as they win.
1 point victory is still a victory.
How did the victory come to be..
With 3:55, Quincy Carter spun around a blocker to his right, aimed and
fired. Joey Galloway, being a great receiver, adjust to the pass, catches
it, and runs for what turns out to be a 80 yard touchdown catch. The
excitement begins. The cries for DEFENSE begins AND the defense responds.
Carolina has to kick and the drive begins. Dallas goes down all the way to
Carolina's 24 yard line. Overcoming a 4th down earlier the Cowboys are
faced with another 4th down. With only 56 seconds left, Quincy Carter
throws a high pass close to the middle of the endzone. Antonio Bryant
jumps up and tips the pass towards himself. Carolina defender reacts
and reaches to block the pass. Antonio keeps his concentration and catches
the pass in the endzone for the winning touchdown. INCREDIBLE!!
